I personally think it was warriors who where screwed and the wizzys got the most out of it and any other Melee....but i wasnt there for CB so im only going on what i been reading.
i htink the only change in tanks and i could be wrong but this is one of them, is that all TANKS buffs last the same amount of time, because the guy who did the tanks CB liked to keep the tanks buffs the same time wise, whch idk is stupid or not ill have to play my tank again to actually see if its bad, but my war buffs didnt last that long anyway so it might be good
I have always said tanks have got shafted in certain aspects as I am sure other classes have.They have almost made them obsolete with all the support character changes in my opinion.Tanks were intended to be the meat shield and defense which means they have to be able to get to that point.I had discussed that before on other forums and people responded that they always gave tanks more attention when they changed things in game like with the CB.Well why shouldnt they give them attention?I really haven't noticed any changes in mine since class balancing.My buffs are still dropping at the same rate and if you are tanking a harder mob, chances are they will drop your trying to rebuff and your ass is hanging out trying to keep the mob off a chain casting wizzy.Which has happened lol When a group of casters can take mobs that use to require a tank then they haven't done anything but off balance the class.
i tanked on fist before, it was on of the HnG quest, that was going around before i left, i think the valentine one, could be wrong, (it was the one where you had to run around findin all the gairds in fp and ****)..well anyway me and another wizzy did qst, i tanked the golems and stuff while he stood in the back blasting away lol(i just turned lvl 50, when i tanked)
I think if anything has messed the formula of this game up it is the screwing with every class continously.I know alot has to do with the need to pacify alot of eqoa subscribers but dam.
im just saying if a dd goes afk the group can keep going. But if a healer or tnk goes afk gropu stops till they bac. Also petters have it the easiest cause they dont really have to do anything all the time. A tnk is constantly pulling, taunting, and hitting. A hlr is also buffing, healing, and making sure no one dies. DDs are also good too, but they get way more than we do (more abilities and cms after update).
a grp can still go if a hlr goes AFK or if a tank goes AFK, just wont be as fast lol. but if both DDs go AFK the grp STOPS, lol theres no way they can keep going.
