Lets have a general chat about guilds and the b!tches and assests of them.I have recently had a few ranked feel they should hop about in other guilds which I normally wouldn't have a problem with but they tended to be upset when I was on when they were but they were rarely on.So what do you do?Plan your life around someone elses schedule. What makes you join a guild and stay? The people?
I join guilds because of the people, most times it s a friend that is in it and I would join...Other times I jsut like the "feel" of the guild when I log on.
i join a guild for the player.to do new thing's and to see new things . and to have fun in the guild with the ppl in the guild . As far as staying in a guild the more you do as a guild the better it well stay together.the more you help each other the better your guild well stay together. just my 2 cents but what do i know
Its tedious being a master sometimes,I think anyone whose ever would agree.I know Maldovar can relate.I started mine to have people I like and that like each other and enjoy playing together and I have yet to leave it despite the crappy server population and the lack of serious players. Still sometimes people don't realize that your life outside of EQ and your family comes first. I recently lost someone I had known for about thirteen years and we had grew up together so it was a little more important then EQ at that time.I felt people more and more withdrew from being in guild due to the lack of events not only for my personal real life things but one of our Elders had not been able to play for awhile and he is a important part of our EQ family also.It was the same feeling I got when my daughter passed away awhile back and I obviously with reason wasn't playing for a little bit even though the ranked in guild took care of things in my absence.I had players leave knowing the situation regardless. It is a sad state to have to choose between a online game and your responsibilities in real life, I don't put a game in front of my life though I have my priorities in line
